Giving Up Is Not an Option

To my friends, known and unknown, who are and have been praying and trusting, I'm

hoping you will not get weary while waiting for your answer/

Some years ago, when I was at a Bobby Jones Gospel taping, I had the opportunity to hear Jessica Reedy give her very powerful testimony of disappointments, obstacles, overcoming, and victories. I recommend all who are awaiting an answer to a prayer or needing a serious breakthrough listen again to her signature recording, Put It on the Altar, and be encouraged to not give up nor give in. Neither is an option for those whose trust is the Lord.


The daily Scriptures in preparation for this week's Sunday school are based on Psalm 107 and what happened when desperate, bound, afflicted, and terrified about to perish people chose neither giving up nor giving in was an option. It must not be, for I don't believe He brought you this far to leave you!

Affirmation: And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatian: 6:9
